2. Assembly

  • Hold the barrel.
  • Connect the foot joint to the body joint using a gentle and twisting motion.
  • Insert head joint into the body joint using a gentle and twisting motion.
  • Adjust the lip plate so the embouchure hole is inline with the C # key on the body joint.

3. Disassembly

Step 1:

Hold the head joint and remove it from the body joint
with a gentle twisting motion.

Step 2:

Remove the foot joint from the body joint with a gentle
and twisting motion. Avoid depressing the keys during
disassembly.


4. Inspection & Maintenance

  • Pull one corner of the swab through the end of cleaning rod.
  • Wrap the remaining cloth around the cleaning rod. Insert the cleaning swab through the head joint, body joint, and foot joint, to remove excess moisture.
  • Wipe the instrument´s surface with a polishing cloth. When wiping, take care to press gently on the keys to avoid scratching or damaging the pads.

1. After disassembling the flute, carefully place on a flat surface.

2. Pull one corner of the swab through the end of cleaning rod. Wrap the remaining cloth around the cleaning rod.

3. Insert the cleaning swab through the head joint, body joint, and foot joint, to remove excess moisture.

4. Wipe the instrument´s surface with a polishing cloth. When wiping, take care to press gently on the keys to avoid scratching or damaging the pads.

5. Keep the flute case dry. Do not store unnecessary objects inside the case, especially used cleaning cloths. The moisture from the cloth can generate humidity and mold on the pads.


5. Caution!

  • Avoid contact with the keys during assembly and disassembly.
  • Do not press the lip plate when holding the head joint.

3. Assemble and disassemble the joints with gentle twisting motions in a straight line. Make sure not to angle the joints as you twist them on or off.

4. Key oil may be applied very sparingly to the pivot points of the instrument. Use carefully as excessive lubricant may affect padding.

5. Place the flute in a safe place to avoid damage. Do not put it on a music stand, a chair, or on any surface that it can easily roll off and fall.

6. Do not attempt to adjust the flute yourself.
